On August 5, 2024, Shenpen extended a helping hand to Aashraya Nepal, an old age home located in Thasikhel, Lalitpur, that provides a safe and dignified haven for nine elderly women. These women, each with their own unique stories of resilience and strength, have found solace and companionship within the walls of Aashraya Nepal. The residents of Aashraya Nepal come from various challenging backgrounds. Some have faced the harsh realities of abandonment, while others have lost their families and support systems due to circumstances beyond their control.
Recognizing the need to care for both their physical well-being and emotional needs, Shenpen brought a touch of warmth to their lives by providing essential food items like rice, lentils, Horlicks, and oil, ensuring that their bodies are nourished and their hearts are comforted.
The women at Aashraya Nepal were deeply touched by Shenpen’s generosity, expressing their gratitude with heartfelt smiles and words of thanks. The donation not only fulfilled their immediate needs but also brought them a sense of being remembered and cared for, making their day brighter and their burdens lighter.
