Nepal, with a population exceeding 30 million, faces significant challenges in providing adequate health care to its people. The average yearly income is approximately $250, making it difficult for families to afford quality health care. Moreover, opportunities for free or affordable medical services are scarce, compounded by the predominance of doctors educated in Allopathic medicine. Supported by CHANCE for Nepal (UK), Tashi Delek (Germany), and private donations, Shenpen collaborates with local organizations to address these issues. They provide essential medical treatment to impoverished communities in rural areas and to burn victims, many of whom live below the poverty line.
